Blair's Outburst (Slight Return)

Hywel Williams has written an excellent piece about the Blair business, in the Guardian here.

Altogether too kind RE.

But so much has been said already and what few notions I did have have been much better expressed in Hywel Williams piece.

I think that is one of the hardest things for some English people to understand about the Welsh.

That there is sometimes a stubborn streak of independence that surfaces in the face of supposedly altruistic behaviour.

It does betray rather an interesting attitude to democracy on the part of Mr Blair though. He gives us a vote, but then swears at us when we use it.

Banksy......very good article in todays Daily Post ...two in fact ...one on the Fing welsh and the other on the soldier who died because of fatigue.....

however I couldn't help noticing there was no attempt to "recruit" anyone into homosexuality or corrupt anyone by mentioning the new Llandudno sex shop...can we be assured you will return to corrupting the regions morals soon?

BTW I walked past the site of said sex shop the other day...it has a big sign outside but so far I appear to be uncorrupted...though not sure if thats good or bad!

Cheers Mark.

No doubt Amanda will find a subtext somewhere and let me know when I'm in recruiting mode again.

Rather worryingly you seem to have corrupted Ivor Wynn Jones who was banging on(oo err missus!)about the Llandudno sex shop.....I guess Ivor wynn is one of the few columnists around with actual experience of victorian britain...
